Please carefully read and understand the following limitations of our services:
- We do not issue fatwas (formal legal opinions) or perform independent reasoning (ijtihad) as these rights are exclusively reserved for qualified muftis and Islamic scholars.
- We do not handle disputes, we always advise that muslims seek Islamic mediation and arbritation that is inline with Islamic Law and local statutory law. Contact your local islamic center regarding ADR services. Part of our goals is to spread sharia awareness by encouraging muslims to seek Islamic legal advice, compliance and mediation and arbitration.
- We do not draft legal contracts or provide legal advice, as these activities may be restricted by your local laws and are reserved for practicing lawyers. However we advise on ensuring they are sharia compliant as possible while maintaining its binding affect under your local statutory law
- Our services are limited to interpreting and applying established Shariah principles and rulings from recognized Islamic schools of thought.
- We advise on what Shariah says and establishes, and what should be considered in any legal drafts, but I do not create the legal documents themselves.
- Our role is to advise, help ensure compliance, and interpret within the boundaries of established Shariah law.
